Oh yes. And this time it's not modded from an existing toy.

's Ailurmon!

Originally I was going to mod her off of a Care Bear toy, if I could find one. But that was taking too long (without spending more money than I'd be willing to destroy a toy for). So it was time to dust off the ol' from-scratch sculpting skills I don't think I've touched in 5-6 years.

I took some photos along the way. It's in no way a tutorial, just some progress photos: Here
(And I won't be making a tutorial. Plenty of those on dA if you just take a moment to search.)

Ailurmon was sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt and painted with acrylics. She started off as a wire and aluminium foil armature. Her earrings are painted wire.
Sealed with matte varnish, with gloss on accents (eyes, claws, jewelry).
Her belt is made of real leather, with a custom sculpted buckle.
