Haha wow so this is like over a year old. Various things attributed to the late internets sharing, from forgetfulness to not wanting to spoil the surprise of gifts (I'll be posting more of these over the next little while).

So... the old MLP toys creep me out a bit ._. But I saw someone on dA do a goat custom of one, and thought it'd be a neat craft to try out, and a way to add a new goat to my collection. So I got a thrift store one from my friend ~EarlyMay, and so it sat... until I realized that I could take "goat" to the next level and do one of my own Digimon o_o

It was the most fun I'd had in a long time.

Turquoise (the perfect shade!) fun fur that I had laying around for a while. Her hair beads are hematite (basically what I imagine black Digizoid to look like).

Her details were sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt and painted with acrylics. Sealed with matte varnish, with gloss on accents (eyes, blades...)

Those blades were an adventure to get on xD; Made from flat sheets of Apoxie. Gluing them wouldn't hold with my shaky hands; they had to be taped down then super glued then epoxy glued.

I don't know the name of her base. The cutie mark was a crown with a round white/red swirl candy and two candy canes crossed below it. Pink with white/red hair.

I like doing physical stuff because it can't be art thefted ^o^

Will most likely never offer commissions for these. They take too long. I just like to make them when it tickles my fancy.

Huaaa, I never thought to make a goat (let alone a goat digimon) out of an old MLP doll-- but as it turns out, it works out great! _{though I share the sentiment on "The old pony dolls kind of scare me a little bit".}
Holy gourds, all the little things. I don't know why but the chest fluff is my favorite weird little thing out of all of this. I suppose because it's just that much attention to the details?

But no, fantastic! Between this and the other one you've uploaded I'm super curious to see if you've made any more, because darn, how awesome.

Dat chest fluff... I wish I'd done a better job on it xD; (I regret the weird "texture" lines) but I'm glad it's a point of endearment!

Psh shush it looks good from this angle. Angles. ... the angles you took pictures from. I donno, maybe it looks different in 3d and real life but I think it was handled well!
