Has anyone else run into ads that automatically redirect the page you go to to their stupid ad's site?
This is kind of annoying. I've had DA do that like five or more times in the last few days. It's kind of dangerous and I really hope they didn't let something like this slip on purpose =\

Yeah I've died because school started. We're making a group film this year so that's kind of terrifying.
Plus I spend most nights during the week at ~tomgeist's place, and I don't have my comp there (desktops are kind of hard to move ). He has a smelly Mac that I don't really like working on.

I've been staring at this website for over a year, it's nice to let other people stare at it too.
Also, I'm holding a contest (for the first time ever!) as celebration for DV finally relaunching! This information is on the site as well, but I felt it helped to post it here :3

THEME

"Downtime"
After working to get ready for the Digimon VIRAL relaunch, the Digi-Destined and their partners are exhausted! The theme for the relaunch contest, then, is downtime. Draw the kids and/or their Digimon just having a good time. Nice group relaxation or a little private time, it's up to you! Note: Drawing more characters does not necessarily increase your chances It just depends on what you're comfortable with! (and who's judging lol)

RULES

- No extreme nudity or anything really inappropriate to the general public! I don't mind that kind of stuff, but I intend to post all of the entries on the site, and I'd like to keep it at least relatively clean Can be suggestive (if that was your idea) but not graphic.
- Art theft WILL NOT be tolerated! Your entries need to be entirely your own work! You will automatically be disqualified if your entry includes art theft!
- Please only submit images, written entries are difficult to judge and will not be accepted.
- Any of the four kids and partners can be included, as well as Zotzmon and Muzenmon
- Feel free to include your own characters, but the Digimon VIRAL characters need to be the focus of the entry
- The prizes were decided with the assumption that entrants are Digimon fans and have their own fancharacters (I'd be amazed if they weren't/didn't). However if a winner does not, then we will discuss and a prize of approximately equal value will be awarded.

JUDGING

The contest entries will not be judged by me! They will be judged by people I know on or offline. Some will be familiar with Digimon and some won't, so if you can't draw in the Digimon style, it won't hurt you.

DEADLINE

December 31, 2009
This is plenty of time, and I will not be pushing back the date!

PRIZES

First Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, a colored drawing of your human Digimon character with their Digimon from Baby to Champion, and a CD cover of the kid and their Rookie stage.

Second Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, and a CD cover of your human Digimon character and their Rookie stage.

Third Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, and a colored drawing of your Digimon's Rookie stage.

The posters are both about 8" x 11.5" in size.
