So, usually while looking for names for my current Digimon, I come across a lot of inspiration that I just can't use for anything I have right now. I really want to make up a Digimon for it, but what's the point, I'd have no use for it >.> There's only so many Digimon I can shove into Viral, even less for Reboot.
So I thought it'd be kind of neat to make a Digimon project that's basically "free for use" Digimon. I get a lot of notes from people wanting to use my Digimon for their own purposes, and while I appreciate it, I'm kind of really attached to my characters. And I especially wouldn't want them split apart from their partner humans. Obviously, these Digimon would come with terms like giving credit, not claiming as your own, stuff like that. But you wouldn't have to ask to use them. Partner Digimon? Random allies? Enemies? Cannon fodder? I don't care what for. If I make them while knowing full well that they'd be open use then I won't get all clingy and upset.
Is this even a good idea? I want to give it a project title like... Digimon: Awesome. Or something like that. Then if other people have Digimon they'd want to offer for something like that, I might even make a webpage for it... And the profiles wouldn't be Flash, because they wouldn't need that extra security.
They'd also have the conditional that I might not always make up full evolution lines for them. But you can always make them evolve into official Digimon. Digis have evolution variety, unlike Pokemon.
Yeah.
That's my idea. >_>
No, my Viral and Reboot Digimon wouldn't be included in it. Lutramon would, most likely.
Please don't misinterpret this journal entry as me offering up all my Digimon. That is absolutely not the case. When I post a Digimon that's "available", it will be very, very clearly labeled as such.

That's partly why I think getting in on this project as contributors would be appealing to others
